Presenting: Encouraging Innovation and Mitigating Risk through Strategic AI Policy Formation
Ryan Knight, Ph.D. serves as Associate Director of the Community College Association of Texas Trustees (CCATT). In this role, Ryan supports over 400 trustees and regents across Texas’ 50 community colleges with effective governance through organizing events, designing professional development, and coordinating advocacy efforts.
As the founder of Teaching to Transform, Ryan consults and coaches on college leadership, executive communications, teaching and learning, and artificial intelligence. Previously, he led recruitment for Achieving the Dream and oversaw the Foundations of Transformation experience for colleges new to ATD’s network. While at NC State University (Raleigh, NC), he worked on a grant initiative and co-wrote the grant proposal that led to the creation of the Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research.
Ryan holds a doctorate in educational research and policy evaluation with an emphasis on community college leadership from NC State University. He is a reviewer for and serves on the editorial board of the Community College Journal of Research and Practice (CCJRP).
