Community College Business OfficersAbout CCBO
CCBO equips community college professionals with the essential knowledge, skills and collaborative opportunities to better serve their colleges.
We work to promote community colleges. In 2020 we created a Facebook campaign that promoted enrollment at CCBO member colleges.
Designed For You
CCBO is the only organization dedicated to continuing education for community college business officers. Members will find valuable resources that help them implement gainful funding initiatives and increase collaboration among college boards and executives to continually grow campus wide resources that drive student success, recruitment, and retention.
By tapping into our organization’s deep well of specialized knowledge, our members have an easier time supporting the mission of their college with a strategic fiscal lens, expanding resources creatively, and providing effective oversight of all operations.
Participation in CCBO helps our members navigate and overcome their specific challenges like budget cuts, limited state funding, strict government regulations, aging infrastructures, declining enrollments, and much more.
CCBO is widely recognized as the premier community college association serving current and future business officers and other professionals. As such, we are the voice of business officers with the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) as an Affiliated Council. AACC is the primary advocacy organization for the nation’s community colleges, representing nearly 1,200 institutions and more than 12 million students. It’s Affiliated Council members are non-profit organizations committed to advancing the role of community colleges in serving society.
