Presenting: Legislative Update
Kathryn Gimborys is the Director of Government Relations at the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC). In this role, engages on behalf of the sector on legislative and regulatory issues relating to federal student aid, postsecondary data, accountability, students’ basic needs, and workforce development. Before joining AACC, she served as a senior government affairs associate at the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) and as an education policy intern at the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions. Kathryn attended Houston City College before earning her B.A. in political science from The George Washington University and her M.P.P. from Georgetown University.
