Presenting: Designing Access Programs That Drive Student Engagement and Institutional Impact
As Follett Access Solutions Director, Ann Barlow shares Follett’s programs with campuses, colleges, and universities, guiding them through the process of finding the best solutions for their needs.
Ann understands the situations and concerns many face when pursuing higher education and she prides herself on offering cost-effective means to access and distribute course materials and supplies. She finds great fulfillment in taking campuses to the next level and helping reshape the course materials narrative across the country.
Ann appreciates Follett’s commitment to remaining on the forefront of innovation, pioneering programs and forging new solutions that engage and inspire. Integral in Follett’s push for progress, Ann has transitioned numerous clients to the Follett Access program, providing students with more equitable access to course materials from day one, allaying concerns for parents and smoothing the path for students as they proceed on their academic journeys.
Ann brings extensive experience in leadership, service excellence, and problem solving in the college bookstore industry. She enjoys working in higher education environments, because where else can you help support learning and help young adults grow and develop into successful adults? She personally takes pride in those she has mentored over the years to land their first jobs and are now thriving in the workforce.
Energized, upbeat, and authentic, Ann infuses fun into her work and consistently develops high-performing teams. She has a passion for helping students succeed no matter where their paths may lead them.
Prior to her director role, Ann served in all aspects of store operations, including roles such as general merchandise manager, store director, and regional manager. She completed multiple store transitions, relocations, and many successful Follett Access implementations.
Ann holds a B.A. in Management and an M.B.A. from Mississippi State University. She volunteers and supports educational and faith-based organizations.
