This year’s CCBO Annual Conference in Frisco, TX, proudly welcomes distinguished experts—Dianne Duron and Justin Martin—who will co-present a concurrent breakout education session titled “Mastering the Higher Ed Budget Book.” Offering strategic guidance and real-world insights into higher education budgeting, this session is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1 during the conference.
Dianne Duron brings a wealth of experience as the Director of Financial Planning, Analysis, and Budget at San Jacinto College, a role she has held since January 2018. Prior to that, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Cedar Hill ISD for two and a half years and was also the Business Manager at La Marque ISD. Over more than a decade at College of the Mainland, Dianne was instrumental in leading payroll operations and played a pivotal role in the college’s ERP migration and implementation.
An alumna of the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a degree in Accounting, Dianne also serves as the Region 4 Representative on the CCBO Board of Directors, contributing her leadership and insights to the organization.
In addition to the budget-focused breakout session, Dianne will also co-present with Carin Hutchins on a timely and thought-provoking topic: “Remote and Beyond: Exploring the Benefits and Hurdles of Hiring Out-of-State Talent in Higher Education” on Thursday, October 2. Together, they will unpack the evolving landscape of remote work, exploring both the strategic advantages and institutional challenges of hiring talent beyond state lines.
Carin Hutchins currently serves as Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance at San Jacinto College, a position she has held since July 2020.
