The CCBO Awards Program is a great way to acknowledge someone’s dedication and hard work in your office and to promote your institution. CCBO award recipients will be recognized in front of their peers during the Awards Luncheon at the CCBO Annual Conference being held Sept. 22-24, in Savannah, Georgia.

You can complete the easy application online by June 28, and it should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. You can even save your application and finish it later!

CCBO has five award categories:

  • The Bob Hassmiller Award for Humanitarian Service recognizes individuals who best demonstrate servant leadership.
  • The Outstanding Chief Business Officer Award honors CBOs with distinguished service to their institutions and their communities.
  • The Outstanding Business Officer Award recognizes exemplary employees in the line of authority under the Chief Business Officer.
  • The Dr. Ronald L. Rhames Exemplary Practice Award highlights institutions for outstanding, innovative, or collaborative practices in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Facilities, and more.
  • The Darrell E. Roberts Emerging Professional Award identifies a first-year Leadership Academy participant as a future leader–– someone possessing high potential to advance to leadership roles in positions of greater authority and responsibility in the field of higher education business, finance, and administration.
