Keynote Speaker

Workplace Cohesion • Dr. Troy Hall

Did you know that up to 50% of the increase in productivity and creativity can be attributed to a cohesive work team? In this eye-opening presentation, Dr. Troy shares 4 key workforce expectations, statistics about the newly forming hybrid work environment and the staggering costs organizations spend when they are unsuccessful at retaining talent. Creating Cohesion Cultures™ are workspaces where people have a sense of belonging, are valued, and share in mutual commitments. This is especially important as nearly 63% of an organization’s employees are actively searching for growth, development and advancement.Cohesion is not correlational. It is a causal phenomenon and when present creates performance
along with a level of engagement filled with excitement, enthusiasm, loyalty and commitment. It’s not your Grandpa’s workplace anymore.

Later that afternoon, get up close and personal with Dr. Troy as he helps attendees apply the strategic framework of belonging, value, and commitment to build a Cohesion Culture™ within their Community College. Participants will learn how to apply the Talent Retention Model to gain success, engage in a team building activity and uncover six  practical tips that they can immediately use within their workplace.

Health and Safety
We assure you that attendee safety is a top priority, and we look forward to seeing you in Nashville October 24-26. Multiple safety protocols will be in place during the Conference.

The event has been designed to allow spacing for adequate social distancing when possible, and we encourage all guests to respect the boundaries and preferences of their fellow attendees. Hand sanitization stations will be located throughout the meeting space. Additionally, attendees who prefer to maintain social distancing while dining may request boxed lunches when checking in at registration.

At this time masks are recommended but not required by Davidson County/Nashville Metro Public Health Department. You can stay up to date on Tennessee’s statewide requirements.

Testimonial

“The speakers were outstanding and the topics relevant to any leadership position. It was great to meet and network with other attendees from all across the country. I feel like there is a higher standard to be met professionally now, and being assigned an experienced mentor will help me achieve that goal.”
