Awards
Community College Business Officers (CCBO) are
accepting nominations for the 2013 awards. We encourage you to recognize
individuals who have made notable contributions in higher education. CCBO has 3
award categories and an award specifically intended to spotlight institutional
excellence. Awards will be presented at the annual international conference on
September 28 - October 1, 2013, at the Westin Mission Hills in Palm Springs,
California. Nominations are due by August 15, 2013.
Outstanding Business Officer & Outstanding Chief Business Officer Awards
The Outstanding Business Officer and the Outstanding Chief Business Officer Awards honor those individuals with distinguished service to their institution and community. Award winners are nominated and chosen by their peers. Please participate in recognizing the outstanding business officers from your institution, state or region by submitting a nomination. Award criteria and details can be found on the OBO/OCBO page. We will honor the recipients this fall in Palm Springs!
Exemplary Practices Awards
The Exemplary Practices Awards recognize outstanding, innovative or collaborative practices in areas such as Human Resources, Finance, Technology, Facilities, and others. Details and criteria can be found on the Exemplary Practices Page. Help promote the outstanding work being done by community colleges by submitting a nomination. We will honor the recipients this fall in Palm Springs!
Emerging Professional Award
The Emerging Profresional Award is a new award that identifies a future leader in higher education- someone possessing high potential to advance to leadership roles in positions of greater authority and responsibility in the field of higher education business, finance, and administration. Help your fellow colleague receive specialized professional support at the CCBO Leadership Academy by submitting a nomination to info@ccbo.org or fax it to 434-245-8453. We will honor the recipient this fall in Palm Springs!
