IRS issues new guidance on the Affordable Care Act coverage for adjuncts and students.
According to the new IRS rule, colleges should credit adjuncts with 1.25 hours of prep time for every 1 hour of class time. Office hours or other required meeting time should be included in the adjuncts’ total work hours.
